Works on Paper

Oil paint is my first love, but some time back I got out my Mum’s old watercolours and started experimenting (with the odd palette of colours that I could still open after 20 plus years!). And now I love the contrast and challenge this medium gives me!

Diving in with a loaded brush and seeing if I can find my people on the paper just like that, no drawing or prep, just straight into the masses! Or pen and ink linework - just as unforgiving! I have to be in a very zen head space for any of this, hence it doesn't happen often!!
