Rocker Babes

My client wanted a painting that would capture that moment of their familys history. It turned out to be a poignant decision – as not long after I had been commissioned I was told they would be emigrating to New Zealand. Their lives were about to be turned upside down. And with the painting needing to be crated up for shipping, timing meant it was shipped off to New Zealand before the family had seen the finished work! I had a fretful time waiting for them to find themselves a home out there to unpack into. So, opening this email one morning was a wonderful thing.
