My cup runneth over

We were out for coffee and cake with my Mother in Law. She was of another age, and liked doileys, antimacassars and good manners. So it was a treat to see her doing something I would have thought unthinkable for her! But then, she also wanted every pennys worth!
For this painting I was working on an MDF panel, and using heavy body acrylic I aimed for an impasto finish. It was fun reducing the work to simple shapes.
