Don't look now! They're coming!

I was watching this group of youngsters on the beach. The lads were posturing, the lassies tossing their hair – all the usual behaviour! And I found myself focused on the three girls, imagining the dynamics between them, and their conversation, as these lads started over towards them. I hoped to capture something of that fizz of anticipation, and energy of our teenage years.
