This is one of three paintings I made to celebrate a morning enjoyed at a regular haunt of ours, The Bolney Vineyard. The staff are a rare treat, happy in their work, good at what they do. The setting, looking out over the vineyards is a lovely setting for a bite. And I loved the composition and dynamics of the light in this moment.
